SSD is a data storage device that uses flash memory for storage.
The SSD stands out for its incomparable speed higher than the HD, both in registering and reading data. The HD because it has mechanical parts suffers from more data loss by falls and hits.
Both have their qualities and faults. The SSD stands out for its processing speed and the HD in storage space. Today the HD is much cheaper than the SSD. And the SSD lifespan is much longer than the HD.
