Recover Oracle Database

We recover Oracle databases with operational failures, partition corruption, hardware problems or that have been encrypted by ransomware.

We work incessantly on creating unique technologies and solutions to recover Oracle Database. Because we are fully aware that databases are the backbone of any business and that the loss of data can result in millions of dollars in losses and even the bankruptcy of companies.

We work incessantly to create exclusive technologies and solutions to recover Oracle Database.

Our technical staff consists of DBAs, programmers and specialists in various types of Oracle database partition systems. We can also recover Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Firebird, DB2, Informix, Caché and Btrieve databases.

Since 2001 we have been working and creating solutions for the most complex problems in the most diverse databases available on the market.

Even in cases where the best DBAs (Database Administrator) in the market have used the full range of knowledge to try to solve the problem and failed or some attempt to recover the data resulted in corrupted data, know that there is still hope.

Technologies created by Digital Recovery for database recovery are capable of recovering data even from unusual partitions such as DBFS (Oracle DataBase File System) or HPFS (High Performance File System). Regardless of the type of DBMS (Data Base Management System) or DBMS (Data Base Management System) we have the expertise to make the difference where data loss has occurred.

We are also familiar with storage environments with RAID Systems distributed on NAS, DAS or SAN Storages. Our many years of experience have given us the expertise and knowledge to help our clients through the most critical and challenging times in their business.

Even if you’ve been through the painful process of receiving a diagnosis that your data can’t be recovered, we are happy to discuss your project. Talk to one of our specialists now.

Common Problems in Oracle Database

The most common problems that cause data loss in databases are related to operational failures, partition corruption, hardware problems, sabotage and cyber attacks.

So the more attention you pay to prevention and maintenance, the less chance there is of the entire database causing unwanted failures and outages.

Unfortunately a large part of the database loss problems we receive in our labs are related to human failure. The stressful environment in IT departments and data centres also contributes to the disaster. Add to that employee turnover and you have the prelude to disaster.

Invariably failures can occur in the file storage systems that are the partitions. Even being programmed to be an exact mathematics, when it comes to computers, nines are not always zero. Partition corruption can cause simple problems that the operating system itself can solve, but can also cause complex problems resulting in catastrophic data loss.

Since data (bits and bytes) will always be stored on some form of hardware, whenever a problem occurs with the hardware the data will be impacted to some extent. Hard drives, SSDs and Magnetic tapes are the means by which data and backups are stored. These devices are subject to a number of factors that can directly influence their lifespan. Once the lifespan of a storage device is influenced the countdown to unexpected downtime begins.

Something that has started to take the sleep of part of IT managers is cyber attacks. The most common type of cyber attacks are cases of Ransomware. Usually these attacks are carried out by hackers who specialise in bypassing protection systems and breaking into corporate networks. Once inside the customer’s network environment they locate the data servers and begin the process of encrypting and in some cases uploading this information in order to double extort the target.

Reboot or sudden reset of Servers and Storages with the Database files still running, causing information that has been changed in the memory system not to be written to the Hard Disks or SSDs;
Problems caused by deletion, corruption or loss of Logs;
Data Loss caused by failures in Backup;

Have You Received a Negative Diagnosis?

If your project had a negative diagnosis or the execution time does not meet your expectations, we accept the challenge of analysing your case.

Why Choose Digital Recovery to Recover Oracle Database?

Digital Recovery is a company specialized in database recovery. We created a dedicated division to exclusively serve highly complex environments.

This business unit is known as Data Center Recovery Services and specializes in recovering data from RAID systems (0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, 60, vRAID, RAIDz and JBOD), Storages (NAS, DAS and SAN), Databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Firebird, DB2, Informix, Caché and Btrieve) and virtual machines (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix XenServer, Proxmox and Acropolis).

Even if you’ve received a negative diagnosis from a data recovery company, we are still happy to look into your case.

We have developed software and hardware technologies that enable us to act with precision and agility in advanced diagnostic and data recovery processes. The creation of these technologies – many of which are proprietary and exclusive – has kept Digital Recovery on the cutting edge.

One of our technologies, called Tracer, is capable of generating differentiated results in data recovery in Virtual Machines, Databases and RAID systems. Through millions of calculations and analysis of millions of records, this technology makes it possible to drastically reduce the execution time of projects, as well as greatly increase the level of success.

We are a company with a subsidiary in Germany. In addition to providing services to governments, financial institutions, and small, medium, and large companies, Digital Recovery also provides services to other companies in the data recovery industry.

If your data is stored on a device located overseas, we have the technology to remotely assess and recover your data. If this is your case, please consult us 24×7.

Should you need it, we can also provide you with a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in a language of your choice. Please discuss this with one of our experts.

Being fully aware of the existing levels of pressure and urgency in Data Centre and Cloud Computing environments, we also offer a 24×7 Urgent Care service. This type of service provides our customers with the ability to perform services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Frequently Asked Questions About Database Recovery

Databases are catalogued information in a synchronised manner in a computer system. Through databases it is possible to access them in a quick and organised manner.

It is a programming language used by almost all relational databases for querying, manipulating and defining data.

A database allows the storage of practically any type of data and this ends up reducing extra costs in infrastructure, optimising the time taken to make decisions and speeding up daily processes.

We can name five main ones that we normally serve at Digital Recovery, they are:

Microsoft SQL Server
Oracle
MySQL
PostgreSQL
Progress
Note: Digital Recovery serves all types of databases, those mentioned above are the ones we usually receive for recovery, because they are known by various audiences and companies using this technology today.

It is the set of computer software programs that are responsible for managing a database.

When a data loss incident occurs involving file deletion, LUNS and partition relocation, accidental formatting or system reinstallation, there is a high risk of overwriting information and loss of partition metadata.

If the partition metadata is lost, there is no longer any possibility of files being recovered with their respective names, creation dates and exact location with the folders where they were stored.

To try to lessen the problem and impact of these losses, some advanced users and data recovery companies resort to a widely used technique known as RAW mode data recovery.

Although using this technique it is possible to recover several types of files successfully, although without names, due to the architecture of databases and the way they are written to disk, generating high levels of fragmentation, recovery in RAW mode does not work satisfactorily, because in RAW mode recovery it is possible to recover only files that were written to the disk sequentially. In case of fragmented files, this technique is completely limited.

This is exactly where Digital Recovery’s efforts to develop its own solutions make sense. After several years of study and tireless work in our laboratories in Brazil and Germany, we have developed a technology to overcome this limitation.

Even if your database has thousands of fragments and the metadata (partition file system information) is no longer accessible, we have the right technology to recover your data. What used to take a long time with little chance of success, with this new proprietary technology, can be solved within 24 to 72 hours for most cases.
